Feels like a high budget B movie, will help to mention that I like B movies. It’s more Sci-Fi than comedy but it does have its moments and it did make me laugh at times. If you want to watch a film with no brains but some very funny political jokes then this film is for you.

It’s a great B movie which tries to be a big blockbuster and fails, but I do like B movies so I will recommend it for a watch but don’t expect much, on a separate note the comics actually look much better. The Darkest Hour is the story of five young people who find themselves stranded in Moscow, fighting to survive in the wake of a devastating alien attack. The 3D thriller highlights the classic beauty of Moscow alongside mind-blowing special effects. Tim’s Film Reviews: wait till it comes out on TV.

My favourite mission impossible yet, but that’s not much really because I didn’t think much of the others. This film is a good watch and might serve better being its own movie rather than part of a franchise. This is not just another mission. The IMF is shut down when it’s implicated in a global terrorist bombing plot. Ghost Protocol is initiated and Ethan Hunt and his rogue new team must go undercover to clear their organization’s name. No help, no contact, off the grid. You have never seen a mission grittier and more intense than this. Tim’s Film Reviews Recommended.

Oh my now that was a special kind of bad, big budget small brains from script to plot. You may have noticed I am going through a lot of 2011 films this because I am looking for films I haven’t seen from last year before the next film in the cinema is released. The hot-headed young D’Artagnan (Logan Lerman) joins forces with three rogue Musketeers (Matthew MacFadyen, Luke Evans and Ray Stevenson) in this reboot of Alexandre Dumas’ story. They must stop the evil Richlieu (Christoph Waltz) and face off with Buckingham (Orlando Bloom) and the treacherous Milady (Milla Jovovich). The action adventure is given a state of the art update in 3-D. Tim’s Film Reviews: wait till it comes out on TV maybe not even then.

Just watched this film at the weekend and thought it was well good to ok nothing special, nothing even memorable but it wasn’t bad. It was basically Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots turned into a movie, but unlike the battleship being converted to a film they didn’t have fun with it, but instead decided to go more serious with a bit of a gritty back story and a bad father son dynamic. A gritty, white-knuckle, action ride set in the near-future where the sport of boxing has gone high-tech, Real Steel stars Hugh Jackman as Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. Tim’s Film Reviews: wait till it comes out on TV.

Battleship was a fun action packed blockbuster and would recommend it to others who like the big explosions without much character building or in depth plot.Battleship stars Taylor Kitsch as Lt. Alex Hopper, a Naval officer assigned to the USS John Paul Jones; Brooklyn Decker as Sam Shane, a physical therapist and Hopper’s fiancée; Alexander Skarsgård as Hopper’s older brother, Stone, Commanding Officer of the USS Sampson; Rihanna as Petty Officer Raikes, Hopper’s crewmate and a weapons specialist on the USS John Paul Jones; and international superstar Liam Neeson as Hopper and Stone’s superior (and Sam’s father), Admiral Shane. Tim’s Film Reviews Recommended.
