American Reunion (2012) Review
The gang are back and much more mature haha nah if anything they haven’t learned anything which is fine by me because it brings us a great end to the franchise. Otherwise it’s still just a fun watch. In the comedy American Reunion, all the American Pie characters we met a little more than a decade ago return to East Great Falls for their high-school reunion. In one long-overdue weekend, they will discover what has changed, who hasn’t and that time and distance can’t break the bonds of friendship. Tim’s Film Reviews Recommended.

Best review “A weirdly touching, totally vile, nostalgic treat.” Film4. This film is truly for the original fans and it gives a strong ending to a great franchise which although had low points its beginning will always be remembered as one of greatest comedy films of its time. The fact that the whole gang is back together was great and believe me it was everyone, I would recommend watching the American pie 1(1999) before seeing reunion just to touch up on your pie history.
Favourite scene would have to be Jim sneaking the naked neighbour girl into her house because it reminded me a lot of the scene of him being stuck on the roof with the tape, the exact same embarrassment and humour mix. I liked the start with a telling of their lives after the wedding but the most part their lives are all missing something not really original but works for a the gangs reunion.
Must Watch Trailer:
The complaints would have to be small but mainly the parts were 40 something’s eyeing up 18 year olds could be creepy can’t exactly blame them though and it was very funny. I am glad that the return for the gang that mad us all laugh with rude crude action come back with plenty of bang and no sizzle but I do get the feeling that if I hadn’t seen the first then this wouldn’t have been nearly as good, so if you saw the first you’ll love this end to the franchise.
If you liked the trailer music then here it is, please enjoy:
