Deadpool was done right. Like straight from the comics done right, nicely done guys. It’s ridiculously funny throughout with a great cast and characters to compliment the Merc with a mouth. The dialogue was equal parts hilarious, filled with pop culture and filthy, just how I like it. Even the action and visuals were pretty great considering the budget; they really worked within their means and it paid off.
“You even look in her direction, and I’ll show you that I’ve got some hard spots… that came out wrong… or did it?”
I don’t even know where to begin. You watch the film and you keep shooting from good to bad to what?! The film is good but not great, it has some strong action and visuals but the story is scattered and the acting is as you’d expect. Unlike Fast Five it’s not great and tries to bring a smart script but ends up messy and just not as simple and focused as the last film. As I said in my trailer review the film looked great and was quite excited to see if the trailer was a glimpse of a great film or a spoiler filled thrill ride. Well that gets explained in the spoiler section. Bookmark this if you are waiting to see the film, leave any comments below, if you have seen the film check out the spoiler sections and I will look forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts.
“This code you live by makes you predictable. In our line of work predictable makes you vulnerable. I can reach out and break you any time I want.”
This is an interesting action film with a good plot and brilliant characters and actors. Mallory Kane is a highly trained operative who works for a government security contractor in the dirtiest, most dangerous corners of the world. After successfully freeing a Chinese journalist held hostage, she is double crossed and left for dead by someone close to her in her own agency. Suddenly the target of skilled assassins who know her every move, Mallory must find the truth in order to stay alive. Tim’s Film Reviews Recommended.
