Arnold Schwarzenegger has been in some of the best actions films I have ever seen, and whilst some of his films have been terrible he does have a lot of good films behind him. The reason I have brought this list out of storage is because this weekend his first film as a leading man ‘The Last Stand’ will be released. I have heard good and bad but I hold hope of a repeat of some kind from these greatest of his work. If you feel you have seen this list before you might have been one of the two followers my blog had back when I first released it, kudos for sticking with me. Whether you like his films as ridiculously funny or fast based action he has done some very impressive things since leaving Austria as a body builder.
Since the ‘Expendables 2’ is coming out next month I thought it would be fun to do ‘the best of’ for the three biggest action stars, done Schwarzenegger a while ago and will link that below, a couple of weeks ago I did Willis’s best films and now I am doing Stallone’s best films and worst because I am not a huge fan of his. Just to point out that Stallone is a terrible actor and this list is so small that I am even including two of his films that I don’t like because it’s relevant to another release (Dredd). I haven’t actually watched a great deal of his films but apparently everything that isn’t part one of the series below is awful (well three other films that are apparently good but I haven’t seen them), cant verify that but I don’t particular like his work so I won’t be paying to see his worst (worst list not going to happen just this post).
A couple of people have asked me to do a best and worst of Schwarzenegger’s films, so here it is ending with the worst and for an ex bodybuilder from Austria he has done a lot of bad films, some of which make my worst films of all-time list. So here it is starting with the best and for an ex bodybuilder from Austria he hasn’t done bad at all with some of these films being my favourite action films of all time.
